Monday, July 7


3:00pm to 6:00pm -- Registration Desk Open


6:00pm to 7:00pm -- Welcome from Conference Chair Dr. Jennifer Peterson followed by Opening Keynote by Canada Research Chair, Dr. Kieran Egan


7:00pm to 8:30pm -- Social Reception for all registrants and presenters with opportunities for networking while enjoying a light buffet.



Tuesday, July 8


9:00am to 12:00pm -- "What is Imaginative Education?" Workshop led by Dr. Kieran Egan and a team of IERG faculty, researchers and practitioners for all conference delegates.


12:00pm to 1:20pm -- Catered lunch for all conference delegates


1:30pm to 4:30pm -- Concurrent Workshops in Imaginative Education with a focus on curriculum/subject areas such as Mathematics, Science, Media Education, Arts all led by Master Trainers in Imaginative Education. (Click here to link to the list.)


6:00pm to 9:30pm -- Open Discussion Forum "Roundtable Feast". This evening has been planned to include all registrants. This is a unique opportunity to combine food and discussion around emerging ideas and topics generated by the conference participants themselves. Wednesday, July 9


9:00am to 9:50am -- "What is Imaginative Education?" Warm-up Invited Speaker session led by Dr. Mark Fettes with Colleen Pudsey and Raegan Sawka.


10:00am to 12:30pm -- Concurrent Conference Presentations, and two IE Workshops by Master Trainers.



11:00am to 12:30pm --First Symposium Panel Session


12:35pm to 1:40pm -- catered lunch for all conference delegates


1:40pm to 4:15pm -- Concurrent Conference Presentations, Second Symposium Panel Session, and two IE Workshops by Master Trainers.


4:30pm to 6:00pm -- Keynote session by Dr. Linda Kaser of BC's Network of Performance Based Schools and Conference Wrap up.
