The large project connected with ADHD students in Romania is developing very successfully. Dr. Stefan Popenici, Dr. Nadia Tarnoveanu, and Dr. Ciprian Fartusnic have recently conducted training workshops for teachers in the cities of Brasov, Constanta, and Piatra Neamt, and soon in Bucharest. They have been working intensively training educators to become themselves trainers of teachers in IE practices for the future. Dr. Popenici writes:
“In Brasov the School Inspectorate was very helpful and enthusiastic about the whole program . . . I can't say how much they like imaginative education and how much they want to start new projects in their county on IE. Our final evaluation was unique in superlatives and I hope we will find a way to continue what was started there. We worked in practical projects, lesson plans, classroom management techniques and so on and in the end was one of the best training programs I ever conducted.”
