Organization

In each of the three districts, the project is coordinated by a local Project Leader – an educator with significant experience in the local school district as well as with the First Nations community. Project Leaders work, on the one hand, with the local First Nations educational council, district administrators, and teachers involved in the project, and on the other, with the SFU research team.

The Research Team is headed by Dr. Mark Fettes, an assistant professor in the Faculty of Education, and also includes Dr. Kieran Egan and Dr. Sean Blenkinsop.  A number of graduate students will be involved in research and administration over the course of the project.

The project is governed in each district by a local Project Committee with representation from all of the main partners.
