The LUCID Project

Learning for Understanding through Culturally Inclusive Imaginative Development

The LUCID Project explores the potential of imaginative education in improving academic and other educational outcomes in B.C. public school districts with high numbers of Aboriginal students.
The LUCID Project is a research partnership between the Faculty of Education at Simon Fraser University  (SFU), the Haida, Stó:lō, and Ts'msyen First Nations, and B.C. School Districts 33, 50 and 52.

LUCID is a Community-University Research Alliance  (CURA) project funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada  (SSHRC) for the years 2004-2008.
